Plain-English version: Use this site lawfully, be truthful when you submit information, and understand that our tax-assessment materials are educational information—not individualized legal, tax, or appraisal advice.

Membership

Membership is voluntary and free unless the association later clearly states otherwise. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information. The association may suspend access for abuse, fraud, threats, unlawful activity, or attempts to interfere with the site.

Information on this site

We work to keep information useful and accurate, but laws, deadlines, forms, meeting schedules and government procedures can change. Always confirm a deadline or filing requirement with the official agency responsible for it.

Community submissions

Do not submit material you are not allowed to share. By submitting information, you give the association permission to review it, store it, contact you about it, and use it for association purposes. We will use reasonable judgment before publicly sharing sensitive material.

No government affiliation

The Dougherty County Tax Payers Association is an independent civic organization. It is not Dougherty County government, the Board of Tax Assessors, the Tax Commissioner, or the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
